About

Reader Simulator

E-reader firmwares for the Xteink X4 Pro, X4 Classic and X3, running in your browser. Each one is compiled from its public source code with a desktop simulator library, then to WebAssembly.

Firmwares

By their authors, each under its own licence

    Privacy

Nothing leaves your browser. Books you add and the simulated SD cards stay in this browser's storage; no account, no cookies. A visit and each firmware run are counted anonymously on GoatCounter (page, referring site, screen size; no cookies, no personal data). The Buy me a coffee button's picture comes from Buy Me a Coffee's server. A firmware's own online features (an online dictionary, an update check) contact their services from your browser.

    Disclaimer

Unofficial. Not made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Xteink. The simulator is an approximation: speed, screen refresh, battery, Wi-Fi and some hardware differ from a real reader. Official Xteink firmware cannot run here. Provided as is, without warranty.

    Measure your screen

Screens don't tell the browser how big they really are, so this is needed once per device. Every bank card and ID card is the same size: 54 × 85.6 mm. Hold one upright against the card below and press − or + until they match. Then the readers are shown at their real size.
